Choosing your yoga mat
- Do you have a gentle yoga practice (hatha, restorative, prenatal, nidra, etc.)? Transitions are slower and poses are less physically intense.
A mat between 5 and 8 mm thick will provide enough cushioning for your cervical spine and joints.
- Do you do dynamic yoga (Ashtanga, vinyasa, Iyengar, hot yoga, Bikram, etc.)? Transitions are fast and the intensity is high.
A mat up to 5 mm thick will give you better grip and stability for balance.

How to care for your rubber mat?
After an outdoor session, feel free to machine wash at 30°C.
After a session in the studio, spray a mist of our essential oils to refresh your mat. It is best to keep it rolled up so that folds don't leave long-term marks in the rubber. Do not leave in the sun as natural rubber will dry out and lose its grippiness. This travel mat is very thin and offers very little cushioning.

Does the rubber smell?
Rubber has a natural odour. Some love it; others not so much. If you fall into the latter camp, know that it fades away with time. Our tip: let your mat air out a bit before using it.
