Fleece component: insulation thanks to air
The mission of the fleece component is to trap air thanks to the volume created by its texture (and the brushing of the knit).
This air acts as a natural insulator, keeping the body warm.
Laboratory-tested, this fabric has a comfort temperature rating of 7°C to 10°C without an additional jacket.
HOW IS WARMTH MEASURED?
This fleece pullover has undergone thermal tests on its fleece fabric and in a climate chamber with a mannequin. These tests imitate real-life mountain conditions, allowing us to validate our design choices.
Why use a breathable fabric?
When hiking, you exert yourself and inevitably you sweat. To avoid that unpleasant sensation of dampness, we’ve designed this fleece using a breathable fabric that easily wicks away perspiration and keeps you dry. The half-zip collar provides ventilation.
A fabric that frees up movements
When you hike, it’s important that you feel free to move. That’s why we chose a stretch fabric that follows each of your movements for maximum comfort during exercise.
A practical fleece jacket that you can take along everywhere
We know how precious each and every cm² and gram are when packing a hiking bag. We’ve designed this fleece jacket with this in mind.
Lightweight and compact thanks to its compressible fabric, this fleece jacket won’t bulk up your backpack.
What sizes are available?
This fleece jacket is available from size S to 3XL.
How you should care for this fleece
Wash your fleece jacket at 30° on a synthetic cycle, inside out. Limit the spin cycle to 1,000 rpms to avoid damaging the fabric. Avoid tumble drying to protect the fabric.
Resistance-tested?
To guarantee their quality, our products undergo rigorous tests. We check their resistance to pilling, discolouration and repeated washing. The resistance to wear is measured using the Martindale test that subjects a sample of fabric to repeated friction. 2-year guarantee.
