COMPONENT DURABILITY
Resistance to wear and abrasion test: for example, we check that our fleeces do not pill using tests conducted in laboratories. Colour retention test: the colour fastness is verified to ensure that the colours do not bleed when coming into contact with saliva. Ageing test: repeated washing should not affect the fabric's properties, behaviour, thickness or appearance.
WATER-REPELLENT PROPERTIES
A quality achieved by applying a hydrophobic, water repellent treatment to a fabric. This process prevents water from sticking to the fabric's surface, thus limiting the latter's ability to absorb water. When movement is added to the equation, water runs off the fabric. This is what is meant by water repellent. Thanks to its water repellent properties, water does not soak into the outer fabric. The trousers remain light and dry more quickly.
Windproof
Wind protection is very important because of the significant chill effect that wind can have on the body, whether you are active or at rest. According to the "windchill" model, which measures how the air temperature feels when factoring in the wind & cold: At a temperature of 5°C combined with winds of 30km/h, the temperature felt will be 0°C.If the air temperature is 0°C & wind speed is 30km/h, the temperature felt will be -6°C.The materials used help to counter the chilling effects of the wind
WHERE DO OUR TROUSERS COME FROM?
Created in our international design centre at the foot of the Mont Blanc in France, this fleece is then manufactured and assembled by our suppliers in Vietnam and Bangladesh.
These are partners that have genuine expertise in making our trousers and with whom we are in close collaboration.
Thanks to this relationship of trust with our industrial partners, we can create high-quality technical products.
