The benefits of relaxation
Every yoga session ends with final relaxation. This gives you a feeling of completely letting go: the body can really reap the benefits of doing yoga. Combined with slow, deep breathing, it takes place in silence or is guided by voice and is performed lying down (Savasana). It gives you a profound feeling of well-being that has an impact on your everyday life and your relations with others. It also helps you clear your mind and thoughts and reduce anxiety.

What is prenatal yoga?
Prenatal yoga focuses on physical poses and breathing techniques that help pregnant women before, during and after giving birth. Teachers provide pregnant yogis with various props to help them comfortably practise and improve their strength and flexibility to better prepare them for giving birth.
The benefits of prenatal yoga:
- Increases muscle strength, endurance and flexibility ahead of giving birth
- Improves sleep
- Relieves pain in the lower back
- Reduces stress and anxiety
- Improves concentration
In short, doing yoga during pregnancy is very much a good idea!
