Compliance with Hawaiian law
The State of Hawaii has decided to forbid the use of certain chemical substances in sun creams by adopting a Hawaiian law that will come into force on 1 January 2021.
This law lists chemical substances such as oxybenzone and octinoxate that are often found in sun creams, which can often harm or even destroy coral.
Our stick complies with the Hawaiian law and is certified by a toxicologist.

What is the difference between a chemical UV filter and a mineral UV filter?
The sun stick guarantees optimal protection thanks to titanium dioxide, a mineral UV filter, here .
Whereas a chemical UV filter absorbs radiation instead of the skin absorbing it, a mineral filter acts like a barrier in reflecting UV rays, and is therefore effective as soon as applied.
