Sharpening
The edge angle is 20°. A triangle located in the packaging allows you to check this angle on a whetstone. All you have to do now is place the blade on the triangle, follow the slant and keep to this angle while sharpening on the stone.
The Solognac quick sharpener allows you to sharpen your blade very easily without any special technique. Finally, sharpening with a sharpening gun is also possible, with a little practice.
Made in France
We've developed this new SIKA 130 FR knife with our French industrial partner, who has been based in Thiers since 1999. Specialising in blade cutting, our partner GDD has made rapid progress in industrial innovation and manufacturing excellence to obtain the most technical knives on the market. All manufacturing is integrated in the company: cutting, forging, hardening, grinding, machining, sharpening. A true testament to French know-how.
