How does a fleece insulate from the cold?
The fleece component is designed to trap air thanks to the volume created by its texture and the brushing of the knit.
This air acts as a natural insulator, keeping the body warm.
This component has been laboratory-tested for a comfort temperature of between 7 and 10°C without any additional jacket.
HOW IS WARMTH MEASURED?
We carry out 2 types of thermal testing: fleece material and thermal mannequin in a thermal chamber. Imitating the conditions (wind, humidity, temperature) that you may encounter in the mountains, helps us to verify our designs.
Why a breathable fleece?
This fleece is designed with a breathable component. It can effectively and quickly wick away perspiration while retaining heat. So you stay dry and comfortable, even during strenuous activity.
A jacket that's both comfortable and practical
This fleece is an essential addition to your hiking wardrobe that you can take anywhere. With its compressible fabric and weighing only 270 g, this fleece will easily slip into the bottom of your bag without taking up too much space.
What sizes are available?
This fleece is available in a range of sizes, from S to 4 XL.
How to look after your fleece?
To wash your fleece without damaging it, select a programme with a maximum temperature of 40° and turn it inside out before putting it in the washing machine. Set the spin speed to a maximum of 1000 rpm and avoid using the tumble dryer to protect the fabric.
Resistance tested
To guarantee their quality, our products undergo rigorous tests. We test their resistance to pilling, discolouration and repeated washing. The resistance to wear is measured using the Martindale test that subjects a sample of fabric to repeated friction. 2-year guarantee.
